Join REL Central for a discussion on teacher apprenticeships and lessons learned from the first year of implementation of the South Dakota Teacher Apprenticeship Pathway (SD TAP). As teacher apprenticeships become an increasingly popular strategy to address teacher shortages, understanding the early-stage challenges and successes is essential for refining and scaling these programs.

Participants will:

• Hear directly from SD TAP designers on key decisions they made, what is working well, and what areas still need refinement.
• Learn more about teacher apprenticeships as a strategy to address teacher shortages.
• Learn how REL Central has supported SD TAP to collect and act upon feedback from SD TAP participants.
• Have the opportunity to ask presenters questions about implementation, data collection, and future plans.
