Home Events Technical Assistance to District of Columbia Public Schools to Co-Develop Fidelity Standards for a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS@DCPS), Session 5.1: Identify Survey Items to Uncover Principal and School-Level MTSS Lead Support Needs (Part 2)
Mid-Atlantic | May 10, 2024
Time: 1:00-2:00 pm EDT
Description: The purpose of this meeting is to work with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team to identify items to assess principal and school-level MTSS lead perceptions of supports. These survey recipients are the key points of contact for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) MTSS team as they work to support school-level assessment and improvement of the MTSS framework. As they are the key facilitators of school-level MTSS assessment and improvement, it is essential that the DCPS MTSS team understands how principals and MTSS leads view the support they are getting to eventually inform our fidelity standards. Together, the DCPS and REL teams will review the REL's proposed approach to developing this survey, informed by the first session held in March 2024. DCPS can then use this proposed approach to administer a survey focused on MTSS supports.
