REL Mid-Atlantic compiles evidence in response to our partners’ research-based education questions through its “Ask an Expert” service. This Ask an Expert summarizes information on Pennsylvania's legislative history of Safe Schools data, including the original law establishing data collection on school crime and violence and provisions that prohibit bullying, strengthen reporting requirements, and strengthen school safety from gun violence.
