Teacher Working Conditions (Session 2): Conducting a Root Cause Analysis with Lower Kuskokwim SD

REL Northwest assisted Lower Kuskokwim School District leaders in conducting a root cause analysis using the Root Cause Analysis and Theory of Action Facilitator's Guide (REL Midwest, 2018). REL Northwest, as part of the Improving Teacher Recruitment and Retention in Rural and Remote Schools Partnership, guided Lower Kuskokwim School District partners through this process. In addition, REL Northwest and partners developed strategies to address each challenge identified by the root cause analysis. After the session, REL Northwest and Lower Kuskokwim developed a set of theories of action highlighting the sequence of strategies and indicators to measure the strategy's implementation.
