Home Events Building Capacity: Common Language for Evidence-Based Practices Session 1
Northwest | October 13, 2022
REL Northwest provided an overview of the project and outcomes for the work in the first session with Laurel Public Schools. Participants review Montana's definition of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and examined the state's MTSS Essential Components Practice Profile. To ensure a common language and research-based foundation among participants for using literacy data to differentiate literacy instruction, REL Northwest focuses on the essential component of Selection and Implementation of Evidence-Based Instruction, Interventions, and Supports. REL Northwest shares evidence-based practices from the What Works Clearinghouse Practice Guides that focus on supporting a high-quality MTSS-Reading model.
