Home Events Identifying Data Sources to Evaluate Alaska’s Strategic Reading Plan
Northwest | April 18, 2023
Between the third and fourth working sessions with the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (AK DEED), REL Northwest used the data identified in Session 3 to fill in the data inventory and management plan as part of the Alaska Literacy Strategic Plan Partnership. During the fourth session, AK DEED was tasked with applying what it learned in Session 3 by detailing data sources that can be used to support the evaluation questions for the Follow-up Strategy activities. REL Northwest compiled a list of data gaps that need to be addressed to answer the evaluation questions for the Target and Follow-up strategies. REL Northwest assembled an evaluation matrix to support Session 4, using the evaluation questions and data sources identified in Sessions 2-3 and listing potential evaluation activities/designs.
