Home Events Montana District Collaboration for Continuous Improvement in Literacy, Session 3
Northwest | January 08, 2024
Building from Session 2 of the series, REL Northwest will meet with three Montana school districts—Hardin, Lockwood, and Whitehall—to work toward increasing the use of evidence-based practices in each district’s multi-tiered systems of support in reading (MTSS-R). In this session, REL Northwest will train the district teams to create an action plan that outlines how they will implement a change to address the less successful MTSS-R practices identified in Session 2. After creating these plans, the teams will also establish a method for collecting data so that they can monitor whether the change is working as intended. Ultimately, the districts will use this work to improve academic reading success for all students.
