In this REL Southwest training session, Louisiana Department of Education staff learned about using rubrics and their benefits to evaluate the New Teacher Experience (NTE), a comprehensive induction program to support and retain early career teachers in Louisiana. Participants explored best practices for developing a rubric, including identifying relevant dimensions and aspects of implementation. The goal was to collaboratively create a rubric for NTE, followed by review and testing.
